WE MADE the flagship interactive map of Bon Appétit’s much anticipated “The Top 50 Restaurants in America” awards. They commissioned us to create a custom interactive map template tailored to that year’s restaurants. Not only did the map need to be beautiful and easy to use, but it also needed a robust back-end that could serve as the magazine’s mapping template for years to come.
THE BACKEND is built using a custom integration with the Google Maps API and Bon Appétit’s restaurant database, allowing them to reuse and customize the map as needed by simply plugging in a fresh dataset.
