China’s involvement with the United Nations has grown considerably in recent decades, but this wasn't always the case. This interactive for CSIS visualizes the entire history of the United Nations Security Council, dating back to the council's formation in 1946 following World War II. Each column represents a single year with each resolution represented by a circle. By choosing options from the drop-down menus, the user can change the view, exploring the voting patterns of an individual country, or comparing the similarities and differences between two countries.
