NYT Photoville Exhibition

The New York Times

For three consecutive years, Seven Mile Media was tasked to edit New York Times’s year of news photography coverage into moving portraits of their most significant and touching stories for the opening night of the renowned photography festival Photoville in NYC. The festival is a one-of-a-kind outdoor photography exhibition that uses repurposed freight containers as mini-galleries for a multi-day exhibit under the Brooklyn Bridge. Seven Mile Media has produced many of the opening night videos covering topics from the Olympics to the inimitable Bill Cunningham.

NYT Photoville “2016 Election”

We worked closely with the editorial staff of the Times photography department to tell each story the way the photographers saw it

WE PRODUCED half a dozen video presentations showcasing NYT’s best photography of the year, including a retrospective of the presidential election, a showcase of the summer Olympics, and a tribute to legendary fashion street photographer Bill Cunningham. We worked closely with the editorial staff of the Times photography department to tell each story the way the photographers saw it. The presentations were projected to an audience of over a thousand who gathered around the freight containers for opening night under the Brooklyn Bridge. A night we won’t forget!
